Marten Transport Jobs
Marten Transport was founded in 1946 by Roger Marten, who started out simply transporting milk and dairy products around the Modena, Wisconsin areas near his home with a single truck he’d purchased with a loan of $400 from his mother.
The company has grown into one of the nation’s largest and most reputable transportation providers offering rewarding careers to more than 2,400 employees. The company has terminals in Georgia, California, Wisconsin, Texas, Oregon, Indiana and Virginia and provides service to customers in all 48 contiguous states, Canada and Mexico. Marten Transport has attained success by maintaining a focus on providing only the most outstanding client service to all its customers. Specializing in time and temperature-sensitive shipments, the company has established itself as the leader in protective services during transport such as shipping fresh produce and other sensitive goods.
The company has recently introduced its own line of in-house-produced training manuals and videos to help provide the best training experience possible for its student drivers. The company has also expanded its training platform to include teleconferencing which allows it to extend its training, orientation and seminars to students at all of its many terminals across the country. The company has been honored with many awards for its commitment to be at the top of the industry in everything it does. Marten Transport has been named one of the country’s top 200 small businesses by Forbes business magazine. It’s also been named as Grand Prize winner for safety by the Truckload Carriers Association.
