Northeastern Region Ski Resort Jobs

The Northeast region offers some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the country. The ski resorts are big, friendly, enchanting places that every skier needs to explore at some point in their skiing career. There are international destinations just down the road from locally prized resorts. The whole region is a wonderful, winter, skiing paradise that you don’t want to miss.

The ski resorts in the northeast are big, marvelous playgrounds that you’ll love instantly. The region includes three scenic states – Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. In these states there are around 60 resorts that cater to outdoor recreational skiing and snowboarding fanatics like you.

The Northeastern region is full of resorts that are huge, world class ski resorts like Stowe and Killington, steep and deep destinations like Jay Peak, sprawling acres of fun like Sunday River, and even a snowboard free resort called Mad River Glen. The mountain ranges are picture perfect, the resorts are bustling, the snow is white and sparkly, and the skiing is always fun.

Working at the ski resorts in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont is fun and busy. Often the season will be over before you know it and you’ll have to sign on for another season to get your skiing fix. Before you know it, one season turns into two, then three, and eventually you’ll opt to live year round forever in the peaceful mountains of the northeast.

Maine

• Sugarloaf – This is the largest ski area in Maine. It has the second biggest vertical drop in New England and is the second busiest resort in Maine… definitely a place worth spending a season.
• Sunday River – Operated by Boyne Resorts, this is one of the skiing hotspots of Maine. It has 9 skiing areas to check out in the winter, and golfing and lift access mountain biking in the summer. Sunday River is a true year round destination.

New Hampshire

• Mount Washington – There are 5 ski areas located near Mount Washington – Wildcat, Mt. Cranmore, Attitasth Bear Peak, Black Mountain, and King Pine. Plenty of skiing, spectacular views, and 5 busy resorts make this a great place to work.
• White Mountains – Three resorts – Bretton Woods, Loon Mountain, and Waterville Valley are situated in the White Mountains. It is one of the most popular areas in New Hampshire.

Vermont

• Jay Peak – Known for its tree skiing, Jay Peak is a popular place for people who love the off-piste experience.
• Killington – With over 750 acres and 3050 feet of vertical, Killington is the largest ski area in the area. There are 6 interconnected mountains to explore and plenty of guests who will need your services.
• Manchester – Home of Bromley and Stratton resorts, Manchester has true New England charm.
• Mad River Glen – An epic mountain, but no snowboarders allowed.
• Mount Snow – Once the host to the Winter X-Games, this hill in the Green Mountains has 12 terrain parks and a loyal following.
• Okemo – One of the top family resorts in the country, Okemo is a great spot to learn the sport and build a stellar resume.
• Stowe – A legendary resort with 333 inches of annual snowfall, this cool ski town is a fantastic place to land a job.
• Smugglers’ Notch – Located a few miles from Stowe, Smugglers’ Notch is rich in history and has great snow.
• Sugarbush – A very cool spot and one of the largest resorts in the region, Sugarbush is a first class year round resort.
