Advertising Your Teaching Services in Hungary

Many English teachers post notices that advertise their services as native-speaking tutors on university job boards or other bulletin boards that cater to prospective students, such as those found in English-language bookstores and libraries, student lounges, and other businesses that serve the English-speaking community.

If you use this method, post as many notices as possible.

The American Cultural Center in Budapest and the British Council English Teaching Center are excellent resources for English teachers and students alike. You will find small bulletin boards in the libraries or hallways of each place where you can post employment notices and perhaps even find ads for random teaching positions.

Be creative and you might be able to make a small private tutoring business by advertising your services all over the city or town where you live.
