Dude Ranch Maintenance Jobs

Job Responsibilities

• Other duties as assigned
• Keeping the ranch grounds – lawns, gardens, and trees, etc. – in good shape
• Mowing, weeding, and watering
• Assist with irrigation of our hay meadows
• Maintaining irrigation ditches and keeping them clear of debris and beaver dams
• Fencing
• Mosquito control
• Keeping up wood piles
• Trail maintenance work
• Painting
• Guest transportation to and from the airport
• Landscaping
• Hot tub upkeep
• Running errands

Maintenance Worker Requirements

• Experience with many tools, mowers, auto engines, and driving trailers
• Able to lift and carry 85 pounds a minimum of 100 feet while working at altitudes of 8,000 feet or higher
• Driving vehicles with manual transmissions
• Able to work long hours outside in the sun
