Housekeeper Responsibilities

• Other duties as assigned
• Interacting with the ranch guests during meals
• Cleaning guest rooms – making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and sweeping
• Cleaning public spaces including sweeping, dusting, etc. Mopping, cleaning windows, building fires in the fire place
• Preparing the gardens in and around the ranch and weeding
• Assisting the cooks and the wranglers and doing routine maintenance
• Go on hikes and assist with evening entertainment
• May help set tables, serve meals, bus tables, help wash dishes
• Do laundry

Housekeeper Job Requirements

• Experience is preferred
• Strong orientation to providing customer service
• Good verbal communication skills
• Able to lift and carry 85 pounds a minimum of 100 feet at altitudes sometimes exceeding 8,000 feet
• Best candidates have other skills (horse, kitchen, office), enabling multi-tasking and opportunity to advance over time
