Iowa Casinos

Iowa is another riverboat casino state. Iowa was actually the first state to have riveboat gambling legalized.



In 1994 gaming machines on the riverboats were legalized and in 2004 a provision was added to the gaming law to allow table games. The riverboats remain dockside with the exception of the Mississippi Belle II. Almost all of the riverboat casinos offer roulette, pai gow poker, blackjack, Caribbean stud Poker, bingo, slots, craps and video poker. Gambling is permitted to 21 years of age and older.
