Arizona has legalized slot machines on reservations since 1993. Ten years later the table game blackjack was authorized on reservations as well.

Since that time video table games such as craps and roulette has also appeared on the scene. Therefore, most Arizona casinos offer video roulette, live keno, bingo, video craps, Spanish 21, Blackjack and of course slots.

All of Arizona’s casinos are open 24 hours a day to anyone over the age of 21. The Department of gaming has very strict laws regarding pay out of winnings, and tribes must ensure that their gaming machines are set to pay out at least 80% (83% in the case of poker and blackjack). Keno pay out has to be at least 75%. Still, casinos in this state make a lot of money because they are so popular. Some casinos are extremely high-class, while others in this state have a very casual atmosphere, so there is something for every gambler in Arizona.
