Teaching jobs are available in virtually every town in Japan, and you’re sure to have a great experience no matter where you go. competition for positions is toughest in the larger cities where the pay rates are also highest, but the cost of living will be much lower in the smaller cities, as will the ratio of westerners to native residents.
