Feline Jobs

Working with felines offers very similar career opportunities to working with canines, just in a bit more limited capacity.

Veterinarians, vet technicians, alternative medicine vets, animal behaviorists and pet therapists are all known to work with felines.

There are even cat trainers (mostly training cats to perform tricks on command), pet sitters, groomers and boarders/kennel operators, all of whom provide care, feeding and shelter for felines (or cats to the layman).

In addition, there are feline handlers, breeders, cat show judges and cat photographers, all of whom must have extensive knowledge about different feline breeds and temperaments in order to do their jobs well.

Rescue and shelter workers also often work with felines, particularly feral communities and strays.
