Youth Hostels in Hungary

Most youth hostels in Budapest – particularly in the summer, and especially in Budapest – are packed with rambunctious young folks from around the world who spend much of their time drinking and otherwise carousing.

Consequently, these hostels often are noisy and cramped. If cleanliness and peace and quiet are important to you, you might want to consider another option. Frequently, youth hostels are only open during the late spring, summer, and early fall, so make your plans accordingly. Expect to pay US$5 to $10 per person per night for a bed in a hostel in Budapest.
