Jobs in Athletics – Sports Internships

Eighty percent of college students get experiential education, on-the-job training and something real to put on their resumes.

They do it all with internships.

Why Intern?

sports intern photoAn internship lets you practice what you’ve studied.

It gives you a chance to find out about the variety of sports jobs and athletics career paths available in K-12, college, and the professional ranks. You learn more, as you find out what work really interests you.

You meet people, begin your own network (critical!) and find doors opening that you’d otherwise never even know were there. The best news is, there are plenty of sports employers waiting to meet you and give you a chance to work along with them, while you earn college credits and maybe get paid, too!

The Internet sports career links here are good places to find athletics internships of all kinds. Also, keep in mind that whether an employer has a formal internship program, or advertises for students or entry-level employees, many will in fact be open to trying something new. So, ask.
