Croatia Casinos

Croatia has brought in more and more tourist each year, in part due to the entertainment and gorgeous resorts that Europe has to offer.

One of the most popular forms of entertainment in this country is gambling, and Croatia has a number of casinos for tourists and residents. Each will try to offer you a unique package for your stay so you should look into more then one casino hotel before you make your choice.

There are a few guidelines that need to be adhered to when entering one of the many gaming facilities in Croatia. The most important is that you must be at least 18 years old and show proper identification, whether it is a local ID or a passport if you are a foreigner. Without proper ID, you will not be permitted to gamble or drink alcoholic beverages in Croatian casinos. All casinos in Croatia have to apply to the government for a gambling license, and if they are caught admitting those under 18, they could lose that license. There are a limited number of licenses available in this country.

The largest casino in Croatia is the Miro Hotel and Casino Minera, located in Plovanija. Each casino has certain guideline where dress code is concerned so be sure to check with your casino of choice for their specific rules and regulations. Some also have regulations regarding how quickly you’ll be paid winning money (if the amount is high), so if you’re a foreign tourist, make sure that you check out these regulations before you start to gamble.
