Tinder is a location-based dating app that connects people who are potentially interested in each other. Anyone can download the app and create a Tinder profile with a photo. Then if someone in your area sees your photo they can swipe left or swipe right. A right swipe means they are potentially interested in you, while a left swipe means they are not interested in you. If two people both swipe right on each other, a conversation can begin within the Tinder app. It’s totally changing the way that people meet.
In the world of online dating, Tinder is certainly a hit. In fact, it registers over a billion “swipes” per day. The app allows users to include pertinent information in their profile such as education, profession, etc. This additional information helps people to find a better match via the app – but it also allows Tinder to track which professions get the most right swipes.
Independent published an article titled, Tinder reveals the 15 most right-swiped jobs for men and women that highlights the jobs that Tinder users find the most attractive. The data comes from swipes between November 2015 and January 2016.
