When people think about high paying jobs, they immediately associate them with stress. Well that’s no longer the case. There are plenty of cool jobs that are low stress and high paying. Yes, you read that correctly – low stress and high paying jobs.
We recently stumbled upon an article from Business Insider titled 24 High-Paying Jobs For People Who Don’t Like Stress. It piqued our interest for obvious reasons – a low stress and high paying job is the ultimate combination. It’s every job seeker’s dream.
According to Business Insider, Dr. Laurence Shatkin compared the average salaries and stress levels of 767 occupations from the Department of Labor to create this super list of low stress and high paying jobs. The list includes 24 jobs that make at least $70,000 per year on average and have a stress tolerance of 70 or lower. Stress tolerance is rated 0 to 100, where a lower number equals less stress. The stress tolerance information is based on data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Occupational Information Network.
